Zero Pollution Motors is looking to produce an air-powered car for sale in the United States sometime in late 2009 or early 2010. Running on both compressed air and a traditional gasoline engine, which would kick in at speeds above 35 mph, the six seat vehicle at a cost of $17,800 could cover 800 to 1,000 miles and reach a top speed of 96 mph.
