Tower Falls: Yellowstone National Park, September 2003 The 132-foot Tower Falls, named for the eroded volcanic pinnacles at the top of the waterfall inspired Thomas Moran, whose painting of Tower Fall played an important role in the establishment of Yellowstone National Park in 1872.
