∞ Local lawmakers are considering a resolution for TDOT to determine if the Knoxville Parkway, otherwise known as the Orange Route, should be a toll road.
Being from Florida, I’ve driven on my fair share of toll roads, and thus, I’m not aghast at the idea. But, if the presumptive purpose of the Orange Route is to divert interstate traffic around Knoxville, then this seems like a completely foolish thing to do.
