House of Worship

House of Worship by Robby Edwards

Grand Teton National Park, August 2006

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.
~Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

Situated in a meadow near Moose Junction on Teton Park Road, the Chapel of the Transfiguration is best known for the spectacular view of the Tetons through its altar window. Built in 1925, it continues to be a functioning Episcopal church, where couples come to exchange vows, amid the tourists who come to take photos of the small church.

This is a wonderful place to pause and reflect, though I imagine I’d find it difficult to worship with that amazing view!
